The world around me is fast-paced and intense
I have always been drawn to new experiences that either excite, fulfill, or scare me. In 2017, I checked all three boxes when my husband and I decided to buy into the Burn Boot Camp franchise.
Market research alone led us to St. Louis.
We picked up our life, two children (and even my brother-in-law) to dream big, work hard and change lives.
I find purpose in empowering others to also get uncomfortable. That is, to confront the “hard,” push the limits, and to take inspired action.

My Heart on Paper
This peek behind the curtain of my everyday life shares in-gym inspiration and intersections of reflection. My blog is a real-life look at the push-pull that occurs when life gets complex, roles intertwine, and a shift in perspective is required. Transformation happens through community, commitment, and consistency.
I write to help you in this.

But wait, there’s more!
Let’s connect on Instagram. I would love to hear directly from you. Shoot me a message with your go-to hype song (you know you have one) and one area of your life you are looking to take action on. I'll share mine, too!

One of the greatest privileges of my life has been getting a front-row seat to human behavior.
Over the years—as a personal trainer, a leader, and a friend—I’ve had the opportunity to see people in their most honest, raw moments. I’ve watched what motivates them. I’ve listened to what excites them. I’ve seen them struggle. And I’ve witnessed, time and time again, the places where they get stuck.
We all get stuck.
Not because we actually are—but because it feels that way.
Most of the time, the feeling of being stuck doesn’t come from a lack of ability or opportunity. It comes from ambiguity.
